Monster Mash uses a rhythm called a “two-beat.” This play-along lesson can be used with a variety of instruments and grade levels. Grab a drum and join us for fun!

In this play-along lesson, we start with a shake roll. When you shake a tambourine, think of using your wrist. It's a similar motion to turning a doorknob. Our rhythm uses a two-feel and is often called a two-beat. LONG, LONG, short short LONG. We use a tambourine and also pat our legs. You can use other instruments, too.
